The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Malte Verpoort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes, Roland Gärtner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urschulz FC and the Zehmemoos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Urschulz FC's Roland Gärtner got a free kick in the 5th minute. Wolfram Spreitzer took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Kühle. Simon Kühle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Philipp Paulus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Verpoort in the 13th minute of the match. Simon Kühle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolfram Spreitzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With an all-out effort, Zehmemoos's Simon Kühle threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Klaus-Dieter Paulmann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Malte Verpoort came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Urschulz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malte Verpoort couldn't finish the play. Philipp Paulus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sascha Gos in the 19th minute of play. Urschulz FC's Simon Kühle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Urschulz FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Urschulz FC's Simon Kühle got control of the ball when Jochen Zukrigl tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Zehmemoos's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Verpoort came free, but Philipp Paulus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Kühle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolfram Spreitzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Malte Verpoort blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Philipp Paulus having to make a save. Wolfram Spreitzer's late challenge caught a Urschulz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wolfram Spreitzer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Wolfram Spreitzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wolfgang-Bernd Gefken got free with Simon Kühle in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute Wolfram Spreitzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Kühle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Sascha Gos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Paulus having to interfere. When Malte Verpoort came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Urschulz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malte Verpoort couldn't finish the play. Klaus Wirth hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Zehmemoos's Philipp Paulus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Zehmemoos from getting a goal against them. Philipp Paulus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Verpoort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Urschulz FC's Roland Gärtner ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Philipp Paulus. Philipp Paulus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Malte Verpoort succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. In the 86th minute Jochen Zukrigl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Kühle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Kühle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolfram Spreitzer in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Urschulz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang-Bernd Gefken came free, but Simon Kühle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Verpoort in the 90th minute of play forced Zehmemoos's goalkeeper Philipp Paulus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zehmemoos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Urschulz FC had controlled the match.
