Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes Horbranz got a freekick which was hit by Mark Knoppertz. 5 minutes into the match, Hinding's Cedric Fehringer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 7th minute, Matthias Metzler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Horbranz getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Christian Pierron hit a great ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Matthias Metzler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horbranz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Metzler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute of the match Heinz-Dieter Hörtnagel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars Preuss showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marc-André Könemann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Horbranz got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Metzler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Lienen in the 28th minute of play forced Hinding's goalkeeper Lars Preuss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hinding booed when Horbranz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieter Metzler didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 39 in the game by Matthias Metzler from a close distance when the talented Lars Preuss managed to make a qualified save. Hinding's players were relieved. Christian Pierron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lars Preuss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Hinding getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Kay Schwering hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Pierre-André Bachmann made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Matthias Metzler made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hinding's Lars Preuss tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rene Lienen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Preuss having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Hinding's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Metzler came free, but Lars Preuss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Jonas-Marius Schragmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Horbranz's Matthias Metzler in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hinding's goalie prevented a goal. In the 62nd minute, Marc-André Könemann fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Simon Hillerzeder, passed just outside the right post. In the 70th minute Rene Lienen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Preuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fynn Hesse kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Hinding's Lars Preuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Lienen in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Horbranz's Matthias Metzler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars Preuss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Rene Lienen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars Preuss was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The Horbranz fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Horbranz's Matthias Metzler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Simon Hillerzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-André Bachmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Matthias Metzler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horbranz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Metzler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Preuss stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matthias Metzler's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Horbranz fully deserved thier win.
