The supporters of Fc Styria 1909 booed when Gundendorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Troxler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Styria 1909's zone, Tom Wehner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albrecht Bißt came out of the goal and Tom Wehner tried to chip the ball over his head. After a rather tough play, Gundendorf FC's Tom Wank got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tobi Amsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Julius Böckels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fc Styria 1909's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Walther was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Max Schranz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Hans-Jürgen Hassel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Walther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Böckels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobi Amsel in the 41st minute of play. Fc Styria 1909 played a much better game than Gundendorf FC and deserved their victory. The Gundendorf FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
