Linetshub's Daniel Olejmeulen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Schilder in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Dustin Brückner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Hauke Mueller came out of the goal and Dustin Brückner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manchester United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Dustin Brückner scored to the left of an out of position Jan-Hauke Mueller, making the score, 1-0. Manuel Unger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Grabner to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Hans-Joachim Pollakowski sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jan-Hauke Mueller threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Hans-Joachim Pollakowski this time. Andre Ramusch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Olejmeulen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Schilder in the 28th minute of play forced Linetshub's goalkeeper Daniel Olejmeulen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andre Ramusch in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Olejmeulen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Hauke Mueller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dustin Brückner in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Dustin Brückner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Hauke Mueller came out of the goal and Dustin Brückner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Jan-Hauke Mueller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Unger. In the 37th minute, Dustin Brückner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Schilder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eike Dubberke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan-Hauke Mueller. Manchester United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dustin Brückner in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Hauke Mueller saved Manchester United from getting behind. When Andre Ramusch came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Ramusch couldn't finish the play. After 60 minutes of play, Manchester United's Alex Schilder made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Olejmeulen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Linetshub's Manuel Unger got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jan-Hauke Mueller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dustin Brückner went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 68 played minutes Linetshub got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Döbbe. Andre Ramusch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Olejmeulen having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Manuel Unger notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Manchester United's Jan-Hauke Mueller. Jan-Hauke Mueller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alex Schilder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Hauke Mueller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Unger in the 89th minute of play. Linetshub's Dustin Brückner got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dustin Brückner in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Hauke Mueller saved Manchester United from getting behind. Jan-Hauke Mueller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dustin Brückner in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Linetshub fully deserved thier win.
