Patrick Hasselberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Nicolas Matzken, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. David-Pascal Meier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Jan-Nicolas Matzken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Matzen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Nicolas Matzken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Artur Demitter came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC Matzen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Demitter couldn't finish the play. Patrick Hasselberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Nicolas Matzken in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of FC Matzen booed when Stattegg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dustin Schüten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jan-Nicolas Matzken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Hasselberg having to interfere. Artur Demitter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Patrick Hasselberg made a huge save. Jan-Nicolas Matzken who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Patrick Hasselberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Peter Schrappe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David-Pascal Meier in the 98th minute of the match. FC Matzen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
