Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tommi Kardell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Andre Hasse struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Peer Münks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hessen United. Kim Huthreuter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Röber having to interfere. Axel Röber made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Albrecht Haberer sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wienerberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patrick Genau was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Hessen United's players had a chance to rest. In the 14th minute, Daniel Hönicke made a precise shot to the right of Peer Münks. Wienerberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, FC Hessen United's Patrick Genau made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peer Münks was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matt Weiss's late challenge caught a Wienerberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matt Weiss helped the player get up and apologised. 24 minutes into the game, Albrecht Haberer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wienerberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hessen United the free kick. After 24 played minutes Wienerberg got a freekick which was hit by Albrecht Haberer. Patrick Genau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Peer Münks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Patrick Genau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Hönicke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peer Münks having to make a save. Julius Spangenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 0-3 became the score in the 37th minute when Patrick Genau elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tommi Kardell was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Wienerberg's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Albrecht Haberer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Axel Röber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Hönicke in the 43rd minute of play forced Wienerberg's goalkeeper Peer Münks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrick Genau to strike the kick off in the second half. Alex Dresner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peer Münks having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Genau got free with Peer Münks in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peer Münks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Dresner, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Tommi Kardell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Röber having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Tommi Kardell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hessen United's zone, Tommi Kardell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Axel Röber came out of the goal and Tommi Kardell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peer Münks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Spangenberg in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Wolfgang-Bernd Ansmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Genau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peer Münks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Albrecht Haberer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wienerberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 88th minute, FC Hessen United's Wolfgang-Bernd Ansmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peer Münks. Peer Münks yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 90th match minute, FC Hessen United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Hönicke to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Andre Hasse managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hessen United's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Hasse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peer Münks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Wienerberg's goalkeeper Peer Münks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wolfgang-Bernd Ansmann. Axel Röber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albrecht Haberer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over FC Hessen United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wienerberg throughout the match.
