After 5 minutes Schleissheim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christoph-Felix Grenzhäuser who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Christoph-Felix Grenzhäuser almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Schleissheim's Frederik Kappestein did a great save. Ronny Konsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederik Kappestein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Koppers, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Schleissheim defense, Ronny Konsel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederik Kappestein. The Schleissheim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederik Kappestein should have stopped the shot. Dennis Krammer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Peter Schmithuysen having to make a save. Ralph Houdelet struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jan-Peter Schmithuysen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schleissheim. Frederik Kappestein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Konsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Peter Schmithuysen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Krammer in the 36th minute of the match. Danny Divis, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Oberaustall FSV's goalkeeper Jan-Peter Schmithuysen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralph Houdelet. Ralph Houdelet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Jan-Peter Schmithuysen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 60 played minutes Oberaustall FSV got a freekick which was hit by Kai Koppers. Robert Küpper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Kappestein having to interfere. In the 70th minute Dennis Krammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Peter Schmithuysen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Schleissheim's zone, Ronny Konsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederik Kappestein came out of the goal and Ronny Konsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Schleissheim's Frederik Kappestein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Konsel in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Krammer in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Peter Schmithuysen saved Oberaustall FSV from getting behind. Robert Küpper succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 97th playminute. The Oberaustall FSV players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
