Jugendausbildung m.o Lust's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tim Benetiz-Volkwein was a little too slow when Niklas Kamionka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Till Bayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 played minutes, Jugendausbildung m.o Lust's Eduard Lanier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tim Benetiz-Volkwein came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jugendausbildung m.o Lust reached it. Dustin Holzwart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Haar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Petermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dustin Holzwart having to interfere. If Dominik Haar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Burkart was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jan Burkart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tophiis FC's Ruben Petermann got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominik Haar to make the kick off. Dustin Holzwart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominik Haar in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Tophiis FC's Dominik Haar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dustin Holzwart. Dustin Holzwart yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Dustin Holzwart made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ruben Petermann sent off a good shot on target. Dominik Haar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduard Lanier kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Dustin Holzwart was a little too slow when Dominik Haar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-2. Dominik Haar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dustin Holzwart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Tophiis FC booed when Jugendausbildung m.o Lust was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Böttcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Kamionka in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Benetiz-Volkwein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jan Burkart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Niklas Kamionka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tophiis FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
