Simon Ballik started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, AC San Teodoro's Gregor Burschick threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niclas Hochstätter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 11 minutes, Lars Oehlert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulaner Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Oehlert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of AC San Teodoro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paulaner Team:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Ballik in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Riedel saved AC San Teodoro from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, AC San Teodoro's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Ballik came free, but Marcus Riedel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Ballik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marcus Riedel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Riedel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Ballik in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, AC San Teodoro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Zupancic to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Simon Ballik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Riedel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AC San Teodoro getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Peter Groeters hit a great ball. Dennis-Sven Rauchbach took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcus Riedel. AC San Teodoro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Paulaner Team's Lars Oehlert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Riedel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute Simon Ballik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Riedel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Philipp Seißler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paulaner Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC San Teodoro the free kick. After a rather tough play, Paulaner Team's Philipp Seißler got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Simon Ballik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niclas Hochstätter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Niclas Hochstätter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC San Teodoro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paulaner Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, AC San Teodoro's Niclas Hochstätter got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 62 minutes, Tristan Terstege mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulaner Team and the AC San Teodoro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AC San Teodoro booed when Paulaner Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Terstege didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Ballik was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Paulaner Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 71st minute, Lars Oehlert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Riedel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Ballik, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC San Teodoro's zone, Simon Ballik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Riedel came out of the goal and Simon Ballik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Simon Ballik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Riedel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulaner Team's Gregor Burschick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim-Florian Fehrmann in the 82nd minute of play. Tim-Florian Fehrmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Burschick having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Hochstätter in the 91st minute of play forced Paulaner Team's goalkeeper Gregor Burschick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Ballik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Riedel having to interfere. Gregor Burschick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim-Florian Fehrmann in the 96th minute of play. Tristan Terstege got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 98th minute, Tristan Terstege hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulaner Team were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
