In the 5th match minute, SK Rapid Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Nussli to maneuver through the defense. Bastian Fink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Frommer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, SK Rapid Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Frommer came free, but Bastian Fink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SK Rapid Wien's zone, Daniel Frommer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastian Fink came out of the goal and Daniel Frommer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markus Juniel's late challenge caught a FC Antharing's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Juniel helped the player get up and apologised. Markus Juniel hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sönke Schmitzberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Fink having to interfere. Sönke Beckert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Antharing getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Nils Leibel hit a great ball. Bastian Fink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sönke Schmitzberger in the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sören Nussli during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes SK Rapid Wien got a freekick which was hit by Sören Nussli. Sönke Schmitzberger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Daniel Frommer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Antharing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Frommer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC Antharing's Adrian Syme got control of the ball when Marius Post tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Daniel Frommer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Rapid Wien's Bastian Fink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes FC Antharing got a freekick which was hit by Jürgen Köppl. A collision led to SK Rapid Wien getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sönke Beckert hit a great ball. Sönke Beckert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Syme having to interfere.

Daniel Frommer took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bastian Fink. Bastian Fink dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Sönke Beckert came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the SK Rapid Wien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sönke Beckert couldn't finish the play. Bastian Fink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sönke Schmitzberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Daniel Frommer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SK Rapid Wien's Bastian Fink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sönke Schmitzberger in the 65th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Jürgen Köppl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Antharing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Rapid Wien the free kick. Bastian Fink made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Frommer in the 74th minute. Daniel Frommer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Bastian Fink made a huge save. In the last second Bastian Fink throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sönke Schmitzberger in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Sönke Schmitzberger took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Bastian Fink to make any attempt to save it. Bastian Fink made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Sönke Schmitzberger sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, FC Antharing's Daniel Frommer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bastian Fink narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 89 minutes of play FC Antharing's Jürgen Köppl was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th minute, Jürgen Köppl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 91 minutes, Marius Post managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Rapid Wien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Post was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Frommer struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Bastian Fink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Antharing. FC Antharing's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
