Mirko Reichel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Behloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Printz in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Gunners Graz getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Bernhardt Metzler hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Jan-André Freeh shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Behloch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Klaus-Dieter Reimers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Behloch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Gunners Graz getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Armin Wallner hit a great ball. Hans-Joachim Hrstka kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Leon Behloch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Printz in the 20th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Thomas Hendrick in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gunners Graz's goalkeeper Leon Behloch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan Barten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jan Barten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Gunners Graz got a freekick which was hit by Simon Becker. When Jan-André Freeh came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the FC Pombos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-André Freeh couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the game, Peter Printz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leon Behloch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Jan Barten fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leon Behloch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Printz's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Peter Printz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Printz was the one to do the kick off. Mirko Reichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mirko Reichel got free with Leon Behloch in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Behloch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Printz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Mirko Reichel made a precise shot to the right of Leon Behloch. Gunners Graz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Peter Printz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Behloch was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Pombos's goalkeeper Jannick Pflipsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Gunners Graz booed when FC Pombos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aki Paulssen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans-Joachim Hrstka was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Peter Printz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunners Graz's Leon Behloch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirko Reichel in the 81st minute of play. Mirko Reichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Behloch having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Printz in the 85th minute of play forced Gunners Graz's goalkeeper Leon Behloch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirko Reichels short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Leon Behloch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gunners Graz's Bernhardt Metzler got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Bernhardt Metzler off the ground. A collision led to Gunners Graz getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bernhardt Metzler hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Printz in the 89th minute of play forced Gunners Graz's goalkeeper Leon Behloch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Printz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Behloch having to interfere. Leon Behloch came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pombos's Mirko Reichel. But to his dismay, Mirko Reichel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When the match was over FC Pombos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gunners Graz throughout the match.
