An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirko Reichel in the 56th minute of play forced Austria Linz's goalkeeper Hans-Georg Peintner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pombos's zone, Fynn Dalpiaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannick Pflipsen came out of the goal and Fynn Dalpiaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 played minutes Austria Linz got a freekick which was hit by Wolfram Dresdner. Peter Printz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Austria Linz's goal looked a bit too open when Mirko Reichel came free, but Hans-Georg Peintner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Pombos's Jannick Pflipsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Pombos from getting a goal against them. If Mirko Reichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Pombos's Mirko Reichel in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
