Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5785, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 25) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sönke Beckert took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marius Post's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Behloch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Leon Behloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sönke Beckert in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sönke Beckert in the 8th minute of play forced Gunners Graz's goalkeeper Leon Behloch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Marius Post shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Behloch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Behloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Post in the 13th minute of play. Jan Barten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Bastian Fink managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Gunners Graz's Thomas Hendrick fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd minute Jan Barten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Fink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Jan Barten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SK Rapid Wien booed when Gunners Graz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Wallner didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Post in the 44th minute of play forced Gunners Graz's goalkeeper Leon Behloch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sascha Giesen during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gunners Graz's Sascha Giesen got a free kick in the 45th minute. Marius Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Barten to make the kick off. Leon Behloch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marius Post went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Sönke Beckert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Hendrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SK Rapid Wien's Sören Nussli got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Bastian Fink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Hendrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Behloch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Post in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Rapid Wien's goalkeeper Bastian Fink, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomas Hendrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bastian Fink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Barten in the 78th minute of the match. Leon Behloch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sönke Beckert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Behloch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Post in the 85th minute. SK Rapid Wien's Sönke Beckert got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sönke Beckert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
