Jürgen Köppl kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Adrian Syme made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Thomas Hendrick sent off a good shot on target. Leon Behloch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sönke Schmitzberger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Behloch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Frommer, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes in the game, Thomas Hendrick fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adrian Syme having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Frommer in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Behloch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Antharing's attack was well implemented in the 34th minute, but when Sönke Schmitzberger was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a rather tough play, FC Antharing's Jürgen Köppl got a free kick in the 36th minute. Jan Barten hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Daniel Frommer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Sönke Schmitzberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Behloch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Daniel Frommer managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Antharing's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Frommer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Behloch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Leon Behloch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Frommer in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sönke Schmitzberger in the 61st minute of play forced Gunners Graz's goalkeeper Leon Behloch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sönke Schmitzberger struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Leon Behloch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Antharing. Daniel Frommer in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Daniel Frommer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sönke Schmitzberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Behloch having to interfere. Daniel Frommer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Leon Behloch made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Gunners Graz's goal looked a bit too open when Sönke Schmitzberger came free, but Leon Behloch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Thomas Hendrick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunners Graz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Antharing the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Thomas Hendrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
