Spectators: 6796 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 0) Mats Bielstein started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 played minutes, Linz's Constantin-Maximilian Keitel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julius Seidenfad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Linz reached it. Michael Weisbrod kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Michael Weisbrod got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jakob Bialke, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Manuel Hauser was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Peter Gerken came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Papaja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Gerken couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Jakob Bialke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Hauser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Erich Stieber fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linz's protests and gave Erich Stieber a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papaja FC's goalkeeper Julius Seidenfad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andreas Plischke hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Manuel Hauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Bialke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Papaja FC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Linz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kurt Peternell took the corner. After the first half Papaja FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jakob Bialke made the kick off in the second half. Michael Weisbrod kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Mats Bielstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Papaja FC's zone, Mats Bielstein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Seidenfad came out of the goal and Mats Bielstein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Gerken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jakob Bialke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Hauser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Manuel Hauser didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Gerken went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Peter Gerken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Hauser having to interfere. Peter Gerken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Papaja FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
