To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the game, Daniel Gillen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julius Seidenfad. Daniel Gillen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jakob Bialke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ulf Theissen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Moritz Zerbe in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulf Theissen saved FC Glan from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, FC Glan's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Bialke came free, but Ulf Theissen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Theissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Gerken in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Peter Gerken took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ulf Theissen to make any attempt to save it. Jakob Bialke received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulf Theissen came out and tried to block the shot, but Jakob Bialke slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Daniel Gillen notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Papaja FC's Julius Seidenfad. Julius Seidenfad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66thth minute of the game Jakob Bialke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Glan's Ulf Theissen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ralf-Joachim Gütermann's late challenge caught a Papaja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, FC Glan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf-Joachim Gütermann to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes, Peter Gerken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papaja FC and the FC Glan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Peter Gerken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jakob Bialke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Steven Grajewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Glan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papaja FC the free kick. Steven Grajewski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Glan's goalkeeper Ulf Theissen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Steven Grajewski was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to FC Glan getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Steven Grajewski hit a great ball. Papaja FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Glan to leave the ground with a draw.
