When Ralf Diem fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peinthal's protests and gave Ralf Diem a yellow card for diving instead. Ralf Diem hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, Roland-Nicolas Hagedorn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peinthal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Kosova the free kick. 24 minutes into the match, Torsten Volz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Peinthal's Eduard Urban. Eduard Urban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thomas Grösch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Eduard Urban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CF Kosova's Valentin Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Blaschke in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Raphael Blaschke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eike Matthias in the 37th minute of play forced Peinthal's goalkeeper Eduard Urban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CF Kosova booed when Peinthal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Werfel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Kai Niebler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eduard Urban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd match minute, Peinthal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Diem to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when CF Kosova's Kai Niebler fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some careless play in the Peinthal defense, Kai Niebler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduard Urban. The Peinthal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduard Urban should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eike Matthias to strike the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, CF Kosova's Kai Niebler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduard Urban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peinthal's goalkeeper Eduard Urban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CF Kosova's Eike Matthias got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Peinthal's goalkeeper Eduard Urban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kai Niebler. A collision led to Peinthal getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Walter Mairitsch hit a great ball. Kai Nieblers short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Eduard Urban to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kai Niebler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eduard Urban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduard Urban was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Torsten Volz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 81 minute of play. CF Kosova's Kai Niebler got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eike Matthias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The CF Kosova players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
