Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Felix Mandl got the match started through his kick off. Felix Mandl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominik Brinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Bovenschen in the 9th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Lions's Dominik Brinck threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roman Bovenschen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the FC KUFSTEIN defense, Roman Bovenschen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominik Brinck. The FC KUFSTEIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominik Brinck should have stopped the shot. Leo-Jan Müller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Mandl, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 20 minutes, Tim Fischer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lions and the FC KUFSTEIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tim Fischer hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Bastian Woltera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastian Woltera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Leo-Jan Müller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Woltera came free, but Leo-Jan Müller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Bovenschen in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominik Brinck saved FC KUFSTEIN from getting behind. Leo-Jan Müller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Mandl, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Roman Bovenschen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, FC KUFSTEIN's goalkeeper Dominik Brinck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Quednau. In the 40th minute, Leo-Jan Kosch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Roman Peternell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Bovenschen was the one to do the kick off. Dominik Brinck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf-Joachim Heinicke's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Roman Bovenschen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Bovenschen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Mandl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Peternell hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Bovenschen in the 70th minute of play forced FC KUFSTEIN's goalkeeper Dominik Brinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes FC KUFSTEIN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan Doll who took care of the corner kick. Felix Mandl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Leo-Jan Müller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominik Brinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Bovenschen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Roman Bovenschen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Brinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo-Jan Kosch kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Dominik Brinck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Bovenschen's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Roman Bovenschen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC KUFSTEIN's Dominik Brinck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lions's Leo-Jan Müller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Mandl in the 90th minute of play. Roman Bovenschen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominik Brinck having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Lions players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
