Kneiding FSV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albrecht Flögl in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kneiding FSV's zone, Johannes Thurnberger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thad Graham came out of the goal and Johannes Thurnberger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 minutes of play, Pfanges FSV's Johannes Thurnberger made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thad Graham was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute Rouven Mandel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thad Graham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Johannes Thurnberger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If David-Pascal Wehn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernd Ballik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorsten Nikolic in the 32nd minute of play. Thorsten Nikolic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Kneiding FSV's Thorsten Nikolic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernd Ballik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute, David-Pascal Wehn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David-Pascal Wehn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nico-Pascal Möseneder to make the kick off. Thorsten Nikolic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Ballik having to interfere. Bernd Ballik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David-Pascal Wehn, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Pfanges FSV's Bernd Ballik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David-Pascal Wehn in the 62nd minute of play. Timo-Fabian Bär kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Kneiding FSV getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Daniel Siekkötter hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David-Pascal Wehn in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernd Ballik saved Pfanges FSV from getting behind. David-Pascal Wehn was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Johannes Thurnberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 103rd minute. Thad Graham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kneiding FSV played a much better game than Pfanges FSV and deserved their victory. The Pfanges FSV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
