Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tibor Skoczylas started the match with the kick off. Peter Ehrhard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 7th match minute, Scwl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Brand to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Scwl's goalkeeper Jo Liebherr had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Ehrhard. After 13 played minutes Gosdorfau FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Stubbe. In a very dangerous position, a player in Scwl fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Gosdorfau FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arnold Berg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Scwl's Jo Liebherr. 2-0. In the 20thth minute of the game Adam Brand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gosdorfau FC's Oliver Schreiber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Gosdorfau FC booed when Scwl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Heyse didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Gosdorfau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Morten Schreyer came free, but Oliver Schreiber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gosdorfau FC booed when Scwl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Heyse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gosdorfau FC's Tibor Skoczylas got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Jo Liebherr successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gosdorfau FC's Peter Ehrhard got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Scwl's goalkeeper Jo Liebherr had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Ehrhard. Scwl's Andreas Heyse got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Adam Brand made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Scwl got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Heyse. In the 52nd minute Tibor Skoczylas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Liebherr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 59 minutes, Tibor Skoczylas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gosdorfau FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Skoczylas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Brand in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Schreiber saved Gosdorfau FC from getting behind. Adam Brand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Ehrhard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jo Liebherr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Peter Ehrhard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Liebherr having to interfere. Jo Liebherr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Skoczylas in the 85th minute of the match. When Peter Ehrhard came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gosdorfau FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Ehrhard couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Peter Ehrhard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Liebherr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gosdorfau FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Scwl for a fine match.
