Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Justus Karrer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Guido Abraham fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eggmanns FC's protests and gave Guido Abraham a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Eggmanns FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Abraham. Sebastian Ramusch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Jani having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Dennis-Maurice Kühn made a precise shot to the right of Boris Jani. Eggmanns FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Boris Jani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Ramusch in the 22nd minute of play. Dennis-Maurice Kühn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justus Karrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kevin Karhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eggmanns FC's Danny Wirtz got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Dennis-Maurice Kühn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Danny Wirtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Jani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Ramusch in the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis-Maurice Kühn to strike the kick off in the second half. Lothar Hainke kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Nicolas Stockbauer, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 62nd minute Justus Karrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Karhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Danny Wirtz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eggmanns FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Wirtz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eggmanns FC's Danny Wirtz got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justus Karrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Kevin Karhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Karhoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Wirtz in the 80th minute of play. Kevin Karhoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justus Karrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Sebastian Ramusch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Finkenstein's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Ramusch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Jani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevin Karhoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Wirtz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis-Maurice Kühn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Finkenstein supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Finkenstein would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
