Mats Setzinger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernhardt Bartsch in the 19th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claas Marchl made a kick off. When Raphael Schellerhoff fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edramsberg FC's protests and gave Raphael Schellerhoff a yellow card for diving instead. David Rappel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claas Marchl in the 59th minute of the match. Bernhardt Bartsch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Setzinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Uwe Kellner kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Claas Marchl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rappel having to interfere. Wiener Sport-Club's Ralf-Willy Winand got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ralf-Willy Winand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. David Rappel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiener Sport-Club's Marc Dorazil got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Claas Marchl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Claas Marchl kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Rappel. That made the score 2-2 in the 86 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Ralf-Willy Winand dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Rappel, 2-3. Claas Marchl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. David Rappel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Pircher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rappel having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wiener Sport-Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
