Spectators: 7779 (Terracing: 5839, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 150) 3 minutes into the game, Spielberg FSV's Josef Quacken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A very good chance. Armin Bartek made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Spielberg FSV's Alex Amerhauser. Alex Amerhauser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marc Schreiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Spielberg FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Haberer came free, but Albert Gilgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Scharfling FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hans-Joachim Gerber hit a great ball. Scharfling FC's Marc Schreiber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Nimako in the 18th minute of play. Marc Schreiber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Quacken in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Alex Amerhauser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spielberg FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Amerhauser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Amerhauser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Schreiber having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Alex Amerhauser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spielberg FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Alex Amerhauser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marc Schreiber came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Spielberg FSV's Josef Quacken. But to his dismay, Josef Quacken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 46 minutes into the match, Spielberg FSV's goalkeeper Albert Gilgen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk Unterberger. Josef Quacken struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marc Schreiber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spielberg FSV.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcel Haberer was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Sebastian Nagel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scharfling FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spielberg FSV the free kick. Albert Gilgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Haberer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Sven Hanschirik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scharfling FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Hanschirik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Gilgen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th match minute, Scharfling FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Öllerich-Dawe to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Amerhauser in the 72nd minute of play forced Scharfling FC's goalkeeper Marc Schreiber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Josef Quacken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Öllerich-Dawe struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Albert Gilgen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scharfling FC. The supporters of Scharfling FC booed when Spielberg FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Nimako didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scharfling FC's goalkeeper Marc Schreiber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josef Quacken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
