The supporters of Hofmark FC booed when Bergheim FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis-Sven Pupeter didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Peth got free with Peer Ehrhoff in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Hendrik Cuypers scored 1-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peer Ehrhoff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Hofmark FC's Peer Ehrhoff got control of the ball when Sven-Hendrik Cuypers tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Peer Ehrhoff managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Bergheim FSV's Sven-Hendrik Cuypers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Hofmark FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bergheim FSV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
