Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Hofmark FC's Till-Julius Bürger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malte Breitner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Maria Schmolln's goalkeeper Malte Breitner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to FC Maria Schmolln getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bastian Zensen hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Hofmark FC's Till-Julius Bürger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Malte Breitner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Malte Breitner made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Julius-Lasse Kurth sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Hofmark FC's Julius-Lasse Kurth dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Malte Breitner was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Till-Julius Bürger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Till-Julius Bürger really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Julius-Lasse Kurth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malte Breitner having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Till-Julius Bürger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Malte Breitner. Till-Julius Bürger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. FC Maria Schmolln's Malte Breitner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Till-Julius Bürger in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bastian Zensen to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Till-Julius Bürger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hofmark FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Till-Julius Bürger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malte Breitner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Julius-Lasse Kurth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Till-Julius Bürger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malte Breitner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Till-Julius Bürger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Till-Julius Bürger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malte Breitner having to interfere. Henning Fehringer hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Julius-Lasse Kurth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hofmark FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julius-Lasse Kurth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Till-Julius Bürger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malte Breitner was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Till-Julius Bürger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Malte Breitner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Julius-Lasse Kurth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Maria Schmolln's Malte Breitner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Till-Julius Bürger came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hofmark FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Till-Julius Bürger couldn't finish the play. If Julius-Lasse Kurth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hofmark FC's Till-Julius Bürger got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Till-Julius Bürger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malte Breitner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius-Lasse Kurth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hofmark FC had played much better football throughout.
