Mario Heidrich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aki Jener having to interfere. Uli Waidler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Mario Heidrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aki Jener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aki Jener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Heidrich, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of FC Schwarzach booed when Strobitz FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Wittmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Heidrich in the 20th minute of play forced FC Schwarzach's goalkeeper Aki Jener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sascha Reichel struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Vincent Gensel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Schwarzach. A collision led to Strobitz FSV getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Patrick Wittmann hit a great ball. FC Schwarzach's Maurice  Ustorf got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Schwarzach's Arne Hennig got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Hennig in the 51st minute of play forced Strobitz FSV's goalkeeper Vincent Gensel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Hennig charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arne Hennig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Schwarzach getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Arne Hennig hit a great ball. Aki Jener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uli Waidler, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a little luck, Strobitz FSV's Vincent Gensel got control of the ball when Sascha Reichel tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was Herbert Deiker who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FC Schwarzach's Sascha Reichel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Aki Jener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Heidrich, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Sascha Reichel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Vincent Gensel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 92 minutes, Fabian Ivanschitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strobitz FSV and the FC Schwarzach players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabian Ivanschitz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mario Heidrich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strobitz FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Heidrich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aki Jener breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Schwarzach's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
