After 11 played minutes Kaltwasser FSV got a freekick which was hit by Tom-Lukas Bogner. A collision led to Kaltwasser FSV getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Christopher Gurok hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Kaltwasser FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Wallner came free, but Benjamin Payer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Christopher Gurok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaltwasser FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christopher Gurok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, one of Kaltwasser FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Volker Szüczs walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 24th minute, Obertreubach FSV's Sven Joppe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sven Joppe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Obertreubach FSV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sven Joppe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 25 played minutes Obertreubach FSV got a freekick which was hit by Sven Joppe. In the 26th minute of the match Sascha Rau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Randy Becker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Christopher Gurok took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Randy Becker. Randy Becker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Michael Gehlen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randy Becker having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Kurt Wittmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Randy Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Gehlen in the 38th minute of play. Randy Becker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Gehlen's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After 44 played minutes Kaltwasser FSV got a freekick which was hit by Ralf de Kok. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volker Szüczs in the 45th minute of play forced Kaltwasser FSV's goalkeeper Benjamin Payer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Michael Gehlen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Randy Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Michael Gehlen made a precise shot to the right of Randy Becker. Obertreubach FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 59th minute, Marcus Himmelmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Payer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Wittmann in the 63rd minute. Michael Gehlen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Michael Gehlen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Randy Becker was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Randy Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Gehlen in the 73rd minute of play. When Michael Gehlen came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Kaltwasser FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Gehlen couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Obertreubach FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Gehlen came free, but Randy Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Marcus Himmelmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd match minute, Obertreubach FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp-Marc Möst to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Gehlen in the 95th minute of play forced Obertreubach FSV's goalkeeper Randy Becker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Obertreubach FSV players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kaltwasser FSV.
