In the 3rd minute Michael Gehlen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthäus Peternell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Christopher Gurok cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Matthäus Peternell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matthäus Peternell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Gurok in the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Christopher Gurok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthäus Peternell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kaltwasser FSV booed when Edlau FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sascha Kirchmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Jonas Janig sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthäus Peternell skillfully saved the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Edlau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Behrendt to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Edlau FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Nussli. After a defensive mix-up in Kaltwasser FSV's zone, Steffen Thierse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Payer came out of the goal and Steffen Thierse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Jürgen Gabe made the kick off in the second half. Lorenz Schlenz charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenz Schlenz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kaltwasser FSV's Lorenz Schlenz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Matthäus Peternell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Gehlen in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Edlau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis-Maurice Kamp to maneuver through the defense. Edlau FC's Matthäus Peternell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Gehlen in the 65th minute of play. Matthäus Peternell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christopher Gurok in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Edlau FC's Sven Behrendt got a free kick in the 69th minute. A collision led to Kaltwasser FSV getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Johannes Jarkovsky hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Edlau FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Wieland. 77 minutes into the match, Edlau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Gehlen came free, but Matthäus Peternell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Oestmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Payer having to interfere. Steffen Thierse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Kaltwasser FSV left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Edlau FC.
