Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC KAPPA's Benjamin Alfert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Benjamin Alfert came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the FC KAPPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Alfert couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC KAPPA defense, Benjamin Abt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willi Keck. The FC KAPPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willi Keck should have stopped the shot. When RedBull Vienna's Benjamin Abt in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC KAPPA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute RedBull Vienna were awarded a corner. Phillip Dietrich went to the cornerflag to take it. RedBull Vienna's Phillip Dietrich was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Willi Keck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benjamin Abt struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Willi Keck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RedBull Vienna. 24 minutes into the match, FC KAPPA's goal looked a bit too open when Mats-Alexander Gerber came free, but Willi Keck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willi Keck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Abt in the 26th minute of the match. If Benjamin Alfert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to RedBull Vienna getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Leonard Junglas hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Junglas during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, RedBull Vienna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Junglas to maneuver through the defense. Dennis-Maurice Wulf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Kohl having to interfere. Benjamin Alfert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willi Keck came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by RedBull Vienna's Mats-Alexander Gerber. But to his dismay, Mats-Alexander Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Dennis-Maurice Wulf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute of the match, Mats-Alexander Gerber tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Willi Keck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 58 played minutes FC KAPPA got a freekick which was hit by Dennis-Maurice Wulf. Willi Keck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats-Alexander Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When RedBull Vienna's Hubert Pfaff in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC KAPPA's goalie prevented a goal. Robin Wimmer hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Björn Sarimski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC KAPPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Sarimski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakob Kohl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Willi Keck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats-Alexander Gerber in the 78th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RedBull Vienna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
