Spectators: 6914 (Terracing: 5794, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mats-Alexander Gerber got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Abt got free with Willi Keck in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, FC KAPPA's goalkeeper Willi Keck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Abt. In the 14th match minute, RedBull Vienna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Pfaff to maneuver through the defense. If Benjamin Abt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willi Keck made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Benjamin Abt sent off a good shot on target. Hubert Pfaff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Willi Keck made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Mats-Alexander Gerber fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Willi Keck, passed just outside the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Willi Keck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 28 minutes into the game, Dennis-Maurice Wulf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC KAPPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RedBull Vienna the free kick. In the 28th minute, Dennis-Maurice Wulf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes, RedBull Vienna's Phillip Dietrich shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Willi Keck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RedBull Vienna reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Benjamin Abt could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Willi Keck however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis-Maurice Wulf in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Kohl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. RedBull Vienna's Jakob Kohl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis-Maurice Wulf in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in RedBull Vienna's zone, Dennis-Maurice Wulf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Kohl came out of the goal and Dennis-Maurice Wulf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Alfert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georg Rothstock kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Benjamin Alfert made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Georg Rothstock during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes FC KAPPA got a freekick which was hit by Georg Rothstock. Benjamin Alfert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Kohl having to interfere. After 67 played minutes RedBull Vienna got a freekick which was hit by Robin Wimmer. After a rather tough play, RedBull Vienna's Justus Deiker got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute Mats-Alexander Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willi Keck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willi Keck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Wimmer in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of FC KAPPA booed when RedBull Vienna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Wimmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerrit-Alexander Faber kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Pfaff in the 86th minute of play forced FC KAPPA's goalkeeper Willi Keck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Dennis-Maurice Wulf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Phillip Dietrich sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willi Keck skillfully saved the ball. Willi Keck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats-Alexander Gerber in the 89th minute of the match. If Benjamin Alfert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC KAPPA's attentive Dennis-Maurice Wulf managed to snatch the ball when Leonard Junglas made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. The RedBull Vienna support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
