Spectators: 7723 (Terracing: 5793, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Mats-Alexander Gerber made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, RedBull Vienna's Mats-Alexander Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Balla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Admira Technopool got a freekick which was hit by Michael Früchtl. Mats-Alexander Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dennis Balla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Admira Technopool's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Abt came free, but Dennis Balla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Kohl made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Enrico Alt sent off a good shot on target. Jakob Kohl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Raimann in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats-Alexander Gerber in the 27th minute of play forced Admira Technopool's goalkeeper Dennis Balla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Admira Technopool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fatih Wilnauer to maneuver through the defense. Robin Wimmer hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Admira Technopool's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Pfaff came free, but Dennis Balla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RedBull Vienna's Benjamin Abt got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Admira Technopool's zone, Benjamin Abt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Balla came out of the goal and Benjamin Abt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justus Deiker hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, RedBull Vienna's goalkeeper Jakob Kohl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrico Alt. After the first half RedBull Vienna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Raimann was the one to do the kick off. Admira Technopool's Chris Raimann got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Enrico Alt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chris Raimann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jakob Kohl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Raimann went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Mats-Alexander Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mats-Alexander Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. RedBull Vienna's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats-Alexander Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Balla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Benjamin Abt could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Dennis Balla however easily saved by the left post. Mats-Alexander Gerber scored 1-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Balla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. RedBull Vienna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
