Spectators: 6790 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 0) Lars Harand started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Kogelberg FC's zone, Chris Raimann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achim Geiblinger came out of the goal and Chris Raimann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Admira Technopool's Enrico Alt in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kogelberg FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lars Harand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Achim Geiblinger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Raimann's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Admira Technopool defense, Fabian Austerer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Balla. The Admira Technopool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Balla should have stopped the shot. After having played for 26 minutes, Enrico Alt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Admira Technopool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Alt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrico Alt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Achim Geiblinger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Lars Harand was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Kogelberg FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 34th minute, Admira Technopool's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabian Austerer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Achim Geiblinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Alt in the 40th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Raimann made a kick off. If Lars Harand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Michael Früchtl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Admira Technopool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kogelberg FC the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Admira Technopool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Früchtl to maneuver through the defense.
