Spectators: 7800 (Terracing: 5851, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) 5 minutes into the game, one of Saagerberg FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, FC Wacker Innsbruck's Kurt Mauer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonas Thoma. Andreas Fuhl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Thoma having to interfere. Andreas Fuhl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jonas Thoma made a huge save. After having played for 18 minutes, Johan Kammen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wacker Innsbruck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Kammen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Thoma didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Kurt Tuters hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Saagerberg FSV's Jonas Thoma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Saagerberg FSV from getting a goal against them. Johan Kammen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Thoma having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Johan Kammen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wacker Innsbruck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Kammen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 55th minute, André Voß got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Wacker Innsbruck's Jörg Bachmeier got a free kick in the 56th minute. If André Voß had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Fuhl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, FC Wacker Innsbruck's Andreas Fuhl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Thoma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jo Kärgel during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kurt Mauer, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. André Voß kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 74thth minute. Though ot was a great shot FC Wacker Innsbruck's keeper Jannick Quint was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. André Voß sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Josef Tuke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saagerberg FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Josef Tuke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannick Quint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Saagerberg FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Fuhl came free, but Jonas Thoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannick Quint didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Voß went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, André Voß ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jannick Quint was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Jonas Thoma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Kammen, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. André Voß's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jannick Quint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Wacker Innsbruck fans cheered their team off the field, for while Saagerberg FSV had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
