Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roy Junglas started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Hansjörg Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Krasselt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Krasselt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Schoppitsch took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helge Bruhnke. Helge Bruhnke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Roy Junglas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andi Michalowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hucking's zone, Anton Krasselt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andi Michalowicz came out of the goal and Anton Krasselt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 minutes, Mario Setzinger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamersedt and the Hucking players grew even worse after the yellow card. Helge Bruhnke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Schoppitsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Hucking booed when Hamersedt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen-Julian Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hamersedt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hucking were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Schoppitsch made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Hassel got free with Helge Bruhnke in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Benjamin Schoppitsch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 60th minute, Eric Hassel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anton Krasselt might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andi Michalowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Krasselt ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Hamersedt's Tobias Hauck got a free kick in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Hucking's Robin Tetzloff broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Krasselt during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hamersedt getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Anton Krasselt hit a great ball. If Eric Hassel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Junglas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Setzinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andi Michalowicz having to interfere. Hamersedt's Anton Krasselt got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Hucking got a freekick which was hit by André Nowak. The Hucking supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hucking would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
