Spectators: 7719 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Elixhausen's Patrick Gennburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernot Damm in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Simon Bezka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jörn Diel. Juventus Turin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Bezka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Elixhausen's zone, Tim-Oliver Lohr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Gennburg came out of the goal and Tim-Oliver Lohr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Bezka might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörn Diel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Bezka ran back to his position shaking his head. Christoph Gerwen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Simon Bezka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Simon Bezka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Ramm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Diel having to interfere. A collision led to Juventus Turin getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eugen Berger hit a great ball. Gernot Damm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Gennburg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim-Oliver Lohr in the 43rd minute. Jörn Diel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Bezka in the 46th minute of play. The Juventus Turin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elixhausen were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gernot Damm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gernot Damm took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrick Gennburg. Patrick Gennburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Gernot Damm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörn Stockhausen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Tim-Oliver Lohr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Patrick Gennburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Elixhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Gernot Damm came free, but Patrick Gennburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Elixhausen's zone, Tim-Oliver Lohr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Gennburg came out of the goal and Tim-Oliver Lohr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Björn-Torben Nagel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jörn Diel. The goal made the score 1-2. Simon Bezka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jörn Diel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Björn-Torben Nagel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Diel having to interfere. Gernot Damm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, one of Juventus Turin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juventus Turin. After 89 minutes, Tim Ramm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elixhausen and the Juventus Turin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tim-Oliver Lohr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Juventus Turin's Christoph Gerwen got a free kick in the 97th minute.
