Seating: 1936, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albert Mayer started the match with the kick off. Albert Mayer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Maltern's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Mayer came free, but Rolf Pisula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, RB Bayern Burgenland's Simon Stanke made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolf Pisula was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dustin Gross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from René Frank, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, RB Bayern Burgenland's Albert Mayer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolf Pisula narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Maltern's Konrad Godenschwengen got a free kick in the 25th minute. Rolf Pisula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Stanke in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Maltern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael-Peter Spitzer to maneuver through the defense. Maltern's Rolf Pisula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Mayer in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Simon Stanke notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Maltern's Rolf Pisula. Rolf Pisula was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Stanke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Maltern's zone, Albert Mayer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Pisula came out of the goal and Albert Mayer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Maltern players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RB Bayern Burgenland were winning 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for René Frank to strike the kick off in the second half. Jürgen Mützel kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If René Frank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to RB Bayern Burgenland getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jürgen Mützel hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Reinhold Tremmel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maltern fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 74th match minute, Maltern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Freund to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Bär got free with Rolf Pisula in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Simon Stanke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Mayer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 82 played minutes Maltern got a freekick which was hit by Julien-Nils Reim. Maltern's Rolf Pisula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Maltern from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Simon Stanke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as RB Bayern Burgenland's Albert Mayer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolf Pisula. That made the score 1-3 after 88 minutes of play. RB Bayern Burgenland's Simon Stanke got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Mayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Pisula having to interfere.
