Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With his leg Ralf Weihs managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Neusiedl am See's Eric Metzger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 11th minute Wolf Kader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Bernecker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Hans Lainer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neusiedl am See and the Waidisch FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waidisch FC's Ralf Weihs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Waidisch FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th match minute, Neusiedl am See was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Pfeifenberger to maneuver through the defense. Niclas Bernecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Horsky in the 38th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kilian Kohler was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Waidisch FC booed when Neusiedl am See was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerrit-Alexander Kaiser didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Jürgen Eymann from long distance, 52 minutes into the match, got Niclas Bernecker's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Neusiedl am See getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. In the 59th minute, one of Neusiedl am See:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Neusiedl am See. A collision led to Neusiedl am See getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gerrit-Alexander Kaiser hit a great ball. With a little luck, Neusiedl am See's Niclas Bernecker got control of the ball when Wolf Kader tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilhelm Horsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Waidisch FC got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Gross. In the 70th minute of the match Gerrit-Alexander Kaiser shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralf Weihs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Niclas Bernecker made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Wolf Kader sent off a good shot on target. Eric Metzger took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Weihs. Ralf Weihs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Eric Metzger's late challenge caught a Waidisch FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Metzger helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Neusiedl am See getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Eric Metzger hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match, Wilhelm Horsky tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niclas Bernecker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eric Metzger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ralf Weihs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Metzger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ralf Weihs having to make a save. Wolf Kader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Bernecker having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Neusiedl am See had won after a very even match.
