SK Austria Klagenfurt's Maxi Peternell got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Paul Bodemer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ralf Hendle hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Timo-Fabian Arbogast recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Waidisch FC defense, Maxi Peternell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Lausberg. The Waidisch FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Lausberg should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Waidisch FC booed when SK Austria Klagenfurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxi Peternell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Maxi Peternell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Lausberg was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When SK Austria Klagenfurt's Timo-Fabian Arbogast in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nicolas Lausberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Bushuven in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, SK Austria Klagenfurt's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Schriebl came free, but Timo Heinsohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Bushuven kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Timo Heinsohn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kai Metzler. Timo Heinsohn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerhard Stöckl in the 30th minute. Robin Bushuven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxi Peternell in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Lausberg saved Waidisch FC from getting behind. Nicolas Lausberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Bodemer in the 35th minute of the match. When SK Austria Klagenfurt's Maxi Peternell in 37 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Nicolas Lausberg guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Robin Bushuven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Timo-Fabian Arbogast sped through Waidisch FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolas Lausberg. Paul Bodemer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Lausberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Fabio Schriebl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Timo Heinsohn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SK Austria Klagenfurt's Björn Ganther got a free kick in the 48th minute. 50 minutes into the game, Fabio Schriebl recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Timo Heinsohn. Fabio Schriebl showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The Waidisch FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Austria Klagenfurt were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Bodemer made a kick off. Paul Bodemer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nicolas Lausberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Waidisch FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Lausberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timo-Fabian Arbogast. After 69th play minutes Paul Bodemer shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Nicolas Lausberg and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 74th minute Paul Bodemer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Lausberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Lausberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Bodemer, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Waidisch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maxi Peternell came free, but Nicolas Lausberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxi Peternell did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Nicolas Lausberg 86 minutes into the match. Waidisch FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Paul Bodemer scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Lausberg, making the score, 1-7. In the 93rd minute, Robin Bushuven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georg Hennig hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Waidisch FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SK Austria Klagenfurt were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
