After 26 minutes of play, Manchester united's Filiberto Lucero made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stephan-Andreas Sellmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester united. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Rotweillers booed when Manchester united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Lucero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Manchester united's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Esche came free, but Tim Hebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
