The referee ignored AUSTRIA WIEN's protests and gave Hansjörg Fischer a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes AUSTRIA WIEN got a freekick which was hit by Hansjörg Fischer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Podella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Torsten Podella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of FC Hurricane booed when AUSTRIA WIEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wolf Metzler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Podella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to AUSTRIA WIEN getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Luis Klingen hit a great ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AUSTRIA WIEN's Torsten Podella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Torsten Podella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Torsten Podella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match FC Hurricane got a corner. AUSTRIA WIEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Achim Trapp ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Achim Trapp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AUSTRIA WIEN's Torsten Podella did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer in the 37th minute of play forced AUSTRIA WIEN's goalkeeper Torsten Podella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Podella was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Niko Zillen in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AUSTRIA WIEN's Wolf Metzler. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer was the one to do the kick off. Luis Klingen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, FC Hurricane's Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 62 played minutes AUSTRIA WIEN got a freekick which was hit by Hansjörg Fischer. Torsten Podella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer got free with Torsten Podella in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th match minute, AUSTRIA WIEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Simoneit to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, FC Hurricane's Achim Trapp tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luis Klingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Thom Nelson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AUSTRIA WIEN's zone, Tim Theinert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Podella came out of the goal and Tim Theinert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Podella was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Torsten Podella firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Hurricane's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
