Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan-Benjamin Katzer to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Paul Põhjala got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 54th minute, Manchester united's Paul Põhjala ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Torsten Podella. In the 88th minute Romeu Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Podella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Juan Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Romeu Pirani took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Torsten Podella to make any attempt to save it. Manchester united's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
