Klaus Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Christian Unterligauer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Sturm II's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hurricane the free kick. The supporters of FC Hurricane booed when SK Sturm II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Unterligauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Hurricane getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Karsten Fontes hit a great ball. Till Harloff kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Niko Zillen hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of SK Sturm II booed when FC Hurricane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthäus Kahofer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernd Unterligauer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Hurricane's Karsten Fontes suffered a sore thigh after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Andy Joppe charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Tim Theinert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer scored 1-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klaus Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Neher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Thom Nelson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Michael-Jan Thurnberger fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Sturm II's protests and gave Michael-Jan Thurnberger a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Hurricane booed when SK Sturm II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael-Jan Thurnberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute of the game, Jan-Oliver Rudersdorfer landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of SK Sturm II:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Hurricane:s goal. Ralf Rutkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Klaus Koehler having to make a save. There was no doubt that FC Hurricane were the better team. FC Hurricane's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
