Stefan Kasig charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 22nd match minute, KSV Falken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Kasig to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, KSV Falken's Julius-Lasse Lange got control of the ball when Michael-Peter Wankum tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan-Frederik Bus came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by KSV Falken's Jonas-Marius Winkels. But to his dismay, Jonas-Marius Winkels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jan-Frederik Bus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas-Marius Winkels in the 28th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 29th minute when Klaus Borak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Julius-Lasse Lange made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gernot Strobl in the 38th minute. After 40 played minutes Feier 04 Leberbluten got a freekick which was hit by Boris Franiel. A hard shot 45 in the game by Gernot Strobl from a close distance when the talented Julius-Lasse Lange managed to make a qualified save. KSV Falken's players were relieved.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sören Woltering made a kick off. With a little luck, Feier 04 Leberbluten's Jan-Frederik Bus got control of the ball when Klaus Borak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feier 04 Leberbluten's Jan-Frederik Bus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc-André Nachtsheim in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klaus Borak got free with Jan-Frederik Bus in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas-Marius Winkels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jan-Frederik Bus made a huge save. Jan-Frederik Bus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klaus Borak in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, KSV Falken's Marc-André Nachtsheim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Frederik Bus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With 62 minutes on the clock, Klaus-Dieter Krughöfer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 61st minute, one of Feier 04 Leberbluten:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Feier 04 Leberbluten. Jan-Frederik Bus made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Klaus Borak sent off a good shot on target. Julius-Lasse Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael-Peter Wankum, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Lars Fettinger struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Julius-Lasse Lange didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feier 04 Leberbluten. Julius-Lasse Lange came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Feier 04 Leberbluten's Michael-Peter Wankum. But to his dismay, Michael-Peter Wankum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Jan-Frederik Bus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Woltering in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, Feier 04 Leberbluten's Jan-Frederik Bus got control of the ball when Jonas-Marius Winkels tried to sneak it across the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Michael Kirchner heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jan-Frederik Bus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Kirchner in the 86th minute of play. After 89 played minutes KSV Falken got a freekick which was hit by Jonas-Marius Winkels. 94 minutes into the match, KSV Falken's goal looked a bit too open when Michael-Peter Wankum came free, but Julius-Lasse Lange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas-Marius Winkels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Jan-Frederik Bus made a huge save. Mike Greifenegger hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Sören Woltering managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Falken's supporters rose to their feet, but Sören Woltering was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Frederik Bus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KSV Falken eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
