The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 20th minute, Marko Ozabiner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Domaćinski fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Alejandro Quirze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lutz Friesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domaćinski's Jakob Aust played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Sobera in the 28th minute of play. Alejandro Quirze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sascha Brinkmeier, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Pulgarn's Anibal Sobera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jakob Aust narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Kristof Schnaebeli came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Domaćinski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristof Schnaebeli couldn't finish the play. Lutz Friesen hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jakob Aust made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Sobera in the 46th minute of play. Henrik Hendricks charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Hendricks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henrik Hendricks kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Sobera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Henrik Hendricks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Domaćinski's Marc Börstling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Quirze narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lutz Friesen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 62nd playminute. Sascha Brinkmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Pulgarn's Severin Diling got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sascha Brinkmeier in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Quirze saved Pulgarn from getting behind. Ulrich Sauer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lutz Friesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domaćinski's Jakob Aust played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Till-Julius Strobl in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Anibal Sobera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pulgarn's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Sobera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakob Aust breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Domaćinski left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pulgarn.
