Pascal Tannhof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Seck in the 5th minute of play. Langfeld's Benjamin Sonnemans got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascal Tannhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Seck in the 10th minute of the match. Bachleiten FSV's Darius Breitenbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Nicolin in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Horst-Peter Nussbaum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Schmitzberger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darius Breitenbach. Bachleiten FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Georg Seck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pascal Tannhof came out and tried to block the shot, but Georg Seck slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Georg Seck made the kick off in the second half. If Georg Seck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Horst-Peter Nussbaum kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Leonard Nicolin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascal Tannhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Seck, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Georg Seck scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pascal Tannhof, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Heiko Enz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leonard Nicolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute of the match Torsten Voss shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darius Breitenbach showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bachleiten FSV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Langfeld had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
