Spectators: 6959 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1959, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Israel Grabiel kicked off to start the match. Benjamin Krebs hit a great ball. Ralf-Willy Holtmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Douglas Quadros made a huge save. Till-Julius Lufen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Israel Grabiel's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Klaus-Marco Pierron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Till-Julius Lufen was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 27 minutes, Lucas Tront mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edlbach FC and the Stuhlfelden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Edlbach FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Tront. After a defensive mix-up in Stuhlfelden's zone, Walter Friz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Quadros came out of the goal and Walter Friz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Friz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Till-Julius Lufen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klaus-Marco Pierron's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Walter Friz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half Stuhlfelden were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Friz made a kick off. Klaus-Marco Pierron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Till-Julius Lufen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Krebs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Klaus-Marco Pierron fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Till-Julius Lufen, passed just outside the right post. In the 61st minute, Benjamin Krebs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Stuhlfelden's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Friz came free, but Douglas Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaus-Marco Pierron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Till-Julius Lufen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf-Willy Holtmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Quadros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralf-Willy Holtmann ran back to his position shaking his head. If Klaus-Marco Pierron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf-Willy Holtmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Quadros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralf-Willy Holtmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klaus-Marco Pierron in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Till-Julius Lufen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klaus-Marco Pierron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Till-Julius Lufen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klaus-Marco Pierron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Till-Julius Lufen having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Klaus-Marco Pierron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Till-Julius Lufen was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Edlbach FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stuhlfelden's performance. The match ended with a win for Stuhlfelden.
