Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Till Bünder started the match with the kick off. Power Vienna's Gernot Hülsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Friz in the 3rd minute of play. A hard shot 4 in the game by Robin Ludwig from a close distance when the talented Till-Julius Lufen managed to make a qualified save. Edlbach FC's players were relieved. After 5 played minutes Edlbach FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Berens. Holger Wörner might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Till-Julius Lufen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Holger Wörner ran back to his position shaking his head. With 12 minutes on the clock, Till-Julius Schipploch commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Power Vienna's Armin Rogge got a free kick in the 17th minute. Gernot Hülsmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf-Willy Holtmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Till Bünder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Berens kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute Ralf-Willy Holtmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernot Hülsmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Robin Ludwig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Till-Julius Lufen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the game, Tobias Berens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gernot Hülsmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Till Bünder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Holger Wörner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Power Vienna's supporters rose to their feet, but Holger Wörner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Till-Julius Lufen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Edlbach FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Robin Ludwig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Till-Julius Lufen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Robin Ludwig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Power Vienna's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Ludwig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Till-Julius Lufen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Robin Ludwig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till-Julius Lufen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Robin Ludwig notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Edlbach FC's Till-Julius Lufen. Till-Julius Lufen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Edlbach FC's Torben Riepe got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Holger Wörner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Till Bünder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robin Ludwig came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Power Vienna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Ludwig couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ralf-Willy Holtmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gernot Hülsmann. That made the score 2-3 in the 74 minute of play. A collision led to Edlbach FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Torben Riepe hit a great ball. If Robin Ludwig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Ludwig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Edlbach FC's goalkeeper Till-Julius Lufen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Till Bünder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Till-Julius Lufen having to interfere. Robin Ludwig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Power Vienna's goalkeeper Gernot Hülsmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf-Willy Holtmann. In the 93rd minute, Holger Wörner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torben Riepe in the 96th minute of play forced Power Vienna's goalkeeper Gernot Hülsmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
