An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Espe in the 16th minute of play forced Raschala FC's goalkeeper Jan Heeling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan-Benjamin Geiblinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Heeling having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, AS Grubthal's Achim Lörsch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Heeling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AS Grubthal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bastian Espe in the 32nd minute. Marko Bökelmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Meikel Wiegmann during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Raschala FC's Meikel Wiegmann got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 41 minutes, Hauke Schäben mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raschala FC and the AS Grubthal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Raschala FC got a freekick which was hit by Hauke Schäben. In the 44th minute, Stefan-Benjamin Geiblinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Raschala FC's Jörg Horsky got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörg Horsky made a kick off. Bastian Espe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jan Heeling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meikel Wiegmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Stefan-Benjamin Geiblinger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan Heeling. The goal made the score 0-2. 68 minutes into the game, AS Grubthal's Achim Lörsch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Heeling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 75 minutes, Achim Lörsch made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Raschala FC's Jan Heeling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute Achim Lörsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Heeling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marko Mayrhofer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauke Schäben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Achim Lörsch struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jan Heeling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Grubthal. Meikel Wiegmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Hauke Schäben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AS Grubthal played a much better game than Raschala FC and deserved their victory. The Raschala FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
