Spectators: 6953 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Peter Kitzbichler got the match started through his kick off. Björn Eymann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorsten Machura in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jannick Pfister got free with Hartmut Meier in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Wattens's Peter Kitzbichler in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mehltheuer FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute Wattens were awarded a corner. André Herrmann went to the cornerflag to take it. Wattens's André Herrmann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Björn Eymann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 17 played minutes Mehltheuer FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Heinz Busch. If Peter Kitzbichler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dustin de Raaf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Eymann having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Mehltheuer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Heinz Busch to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match André Herrmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Björn Eymann skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Wattens booed when Mehltheuer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Triebel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Mehltheuer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Kitzbichler came free, but Björn Eymann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Peter Kitzbichler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Eymann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Kitzbichler in the 45th minute of the match. Mehltheuer FC's Jannick Pfister got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karsten Hirschvogel made a kick off. Thorsten Machura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helmar Uedickoven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Wattens's Nikolas Stotz got a free kick in the 54th minute. Björn Eymann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Kitzbichler's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Kitzbichler in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Eymann saved Mehltheuer FC from getting behind. If Peter Kitzbichler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Kitzbichler might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Björn Eymann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Kitzbichler ran back to his position shaking his head. Dustin de Raaf scored 0-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Eymann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 81 minutes, Peter Kitzbichler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wattens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Kitzbichler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 played minutes Mehltheuer FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Fuhl. André Herrmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Björn Eymann made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Mehltheuer FC's Karl-Heinz Busch got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 88 minutes Mehltheuer FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Herrmann who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mehltheuer FC's goalie and right to Rouven Geißler. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mehltheuer FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Peter Kitzbichler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Eymann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Kitzbichler, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Wattens left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mehltheuer FC.
