Ralf-Willy Kreter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Marko Mayrhofer made a huge save. In the 7th minute, Till-Julius Schipploch had to leave the field with a concussion. Stefan-Benjamin Geiblinger charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan-Benjamin Geiblinger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ralf-Willy Kreter kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes, AS Grubthal's Bastian Espe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gernot Hülsmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AS Grubthal reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Till Bünder in the 15th minute of play forced AS Grubthal's goalkeeper Marko Mayrhofer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marko Mayrhofer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Till Bünder, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute Till Bünder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Mayrhofer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AS Grubthal's Marko Mayrhofer got control of the ball when Robin Ludwig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marko Mayrhofer made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Robin Ludwig sent off a good shot on target. Marko Mayrhofer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Till Bünder in the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Till Bünder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Power Vienna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AS Grubthal the free kick. In the 24th minute, Till Bünder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Power Vienna's goal looked a bit too open when Achim Lörsch came free, but Gernot Hülsmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Power Vienna's Gernot Hülsmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achim Lörsch in the 30th minute of play. AS Grubthal's Marko Mayrhofer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Mairitsch in the 32nd minute of play. Marko Mayrhofer made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Robin Ludwig sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 38 minutes, Ralf-Willy Kreter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Power Vienna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf-Willy Kreter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Ludwig got free with Marko Mayrhofer in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th match minute, AS Grubthal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan-Benjamin Geiblinger to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, AS Grubthal's goal looked a bit too open when Till Bünder came free, but Marko Mayrhofer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Till Bünder to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Armin Rogge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marko Mayrhofer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robin Ludwig went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 3-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Robin Ludwig elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. AS Grubthal's Marko Mayrhofer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Ludwig in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Ludwig in the 64th minute of play forced AS Grubthal's goalkeeper Marko Mayrhofer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nicholas Mairitsch fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Power Vienna's protests and gave Nicholas Mairitsch a yellow card for diving instead. Achim Lörsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernot Hülsmann having to interfere. Bastian Espe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute of the match, Achim Lörsch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gernot Hülsmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72nd minute, Power Vienna's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bastian Espe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 74th minute, Timo Unterberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Ludwig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Mayrhofer having to interfere. Marko Mayrhofer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Till Bünder went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. AS Grubthal's Marko Mayrhofer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Till Bünder in the 82nd minute of play. Marko Mayrhofer came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Power Vienna's Till Bünder. But to his dismay, Till Bünder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bastian Espe got free with Gernot Hülsmann in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Power Vienna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
